Pieri Top (Grades 200 & 300) - Formerly PN2 Range

Spray on top face construction joint retarder for use on high strength concretes (C50 & C60), fast setting low water content concretes, or where there are high heats of hydration generated. In these situations normal top face retarders such as Expotard TF are generally ineffective. TOP has a track record in these situations, particularly at Canary Wharf. It is ideal for use where extended removal time is needed for large pours, or over the weekend. It can be left for two to three days if needed. It is non toxic, solvent -free and odourless.

Pieri DRC6 (Grades 200 & 300)

DI-CHEM Toptard

A water based spray applied top face retarder, suitable for producing exposed aggregate finishes for construction joints on kickers or a key for applying subsequent coatings. Produces a uniform depth of retardation. The treated area must be washed / brushed down within 8-20 hours to reveal the retarded matrix. Dyed blue to assist in application.

Coverage :- 3 - 5m²/ltr.

DI-CHEM Formtard (Gel)

A water based, brush on form face retarding gel suitable for producing exposed aggregate finishes for construction joints at stop ends or for subsequent plastering operations. Suitable for use on wood, steel or fibreglass forms. The form must be struck and the area washed / brushed down within 30 hours to reveal the retarded matrix. Dyed green to assist in application. Coverage :- 3 - 4m²/ltr.

Pieri DPL RB Classic - Formerly RB200

An economical Formwork surface retarder for production of construction joints or roughened key surfaces in concrete. Can be used on most types of form surface but it must be free of grease. Use of RB Classic allows for delayed stripping for several days as long as the formwork is not removed from the deactivated concrete. After stripping concrete, mould cleaning by washing is recommended. With RB Classic the depth of retardation varies according to the thickness it is applied. Coverage :- 6 - 8m²/ltr.

Pieri TOP Surface Retarder

A 100% aqueous retarder for the production of exposed aggregate concretes and construction joints. The eight grades allow a defined depth of retardation to be achieved. The choice of grade must be made on the strength of preliminary tests, since the nature of the cement, its dosage and the general conditions of application will have a bearing on the depth of retardation obtained. It is ideal for use where extended stripping time of up to three days is needed. It is non toxic, solvent -free and odourless.

Pieri DRC6 Architectural Retarders

Specially formulated to produce a very high quality uniform exposed aggregate finish, not to be confused with construction joint retarders. Ten grades are available depending on the depth of etch required or size and gradation of aggregate in the mix. Designed for use on all form types, in pre-cast or on-site situations. Application is by brush, roller or airless sprayer, due to the special resins, DRC6 will stay where it is applied, even on inclined, vertical and soffit areas. Care must be taken to ensure the product is thoroughly mixed before and during application, also protect treated forms from rain. Coverage :- 10 - 12m²/ltr

Expamet Hy-Rib Permanent Formwork

Type 2811 - Colour code Red

A zinc coated expanded metal mesh with U-ribs to give the sheet strength. It is used on site in lieu of normal formwork to provide stop ends and a construction joint key for the next pour without the need for further surface preparation.

Spray applied using a sprayer with an 8004 nozzle tip fitted.
