DI-CHEM Tiestop

A fast setting, shrinkage compensated, pre-packed, polymer modified, cementitious Tiehole filler. A structural grade cement that can also be used for general repairs. Simply mix with clean water, a measuring scoop is provided to give correct mix ratios. No special surface preparation or priming is required, although the plastic sleeve will require drilling back at least 30mm if a shallow cone (e.g. 22/10) has been used, to avoid this use a 22/50 cone. Chloride free and completely waterproof, with very high bond strengths. If colour matching is required, fill the tiehole shallow and finish with Matchpatch. This product has an exceptional record in Water and Highway Projects. Complies with clause 6 of DTp Standard (BD 27/86) Materials for the Repair of Concrete Highway Structures.

A stopper made from a resilient synthetic rubber material.Used to bung the plastic tie tube and is then covered with Tiestop to form a watertight seal. Used in water retaining and highway structures in particular.
